“Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil” Psalm 23

The real Death Valley leaves little to fear during the winter. For the most part the National Park is a pleasant place, with day time temperatures in the low 60s and most tourists retreating to the comfort of he

ated motel rooms. A hew hardy souls brave the freezing temperatures at night to camp out in the elements, but there is no fire and brimstone. There are simply stars upon stars, infinite clusters of galaxies far away that make man who already feels small in the desert, even smaller.
