About Stuart Palley:

Stuart Palley is a photographer specializing in long-term documentaries, disaster aftermath, environmental issues and news. His work has been featured in the New York Times, CNN iReport, The Texas Tribune, The Taos News, various other publications and in shows nationwide. He was recently recognized as an Emerging Photographer by American Photo Magazine and traveled to Japan to document the long-term damage from the 3-11 earthquake and tsunami.

Stuart is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Photojournalism  at the University of Missouri and is a co-coordinator for the 66th College Photographer of the Year Competition. Stuart is also an avid explorer and enjoys travel to all parts of the globe.  His favorite photography project has been participating in the Young Photographer’s Alliance Answering Adversity Project where students across the United States found Americans creatively making ends meet in the Great Recession.
